I started reading books when I was five. Due to novels being unpopular in the rural areas where I grew up, the first books I read were college course books in anthropology and social sciences. Because I was too young by that time, I didn't really understand much of what those books were saying but anyway those books awakened in me the habit of reading. The first book I ever completed reading was "A Wrinkle in Time" by Madeleine L'Engle. It was magical and I really loved it. Since then, I have loved reading books where the main characters are children, or anywhere between 0 and early 20s.I got a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and I am trying to pursue higher education. Despite pursuing a science field, I never lost my love for literature. So even today, I am reading and writing.
I can't take out the Bible among my favorite books. And from it I resonated the most with the Book of Esther and the Book of Job.As for the fiction: A Wrinkle in Time (Madeleine L'Engle), Shadows and The Devil's Labyrinth (both by John Saul), Smaller and Smaller Circles (F.H. Batacan)and more
