I'm a writer and editor whose work has been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists and the American Advertising Federation. In 2015, I joined the lineup of creators for the audio drama series Tales from Beyond the Pale, an Entertainment Weekly “Must List” pick that has topped iTunes charts and played live to sold-out audiences across North America. In 2016, I was named Writer of the Year in the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards. My first nonfiction book, Ghoulish: The Art of Gary Pullin, is out now from 1984 Publishing, with my second release due out in Fall 2019. I live in Tennessee with my long-suffering wife, several recalcitrant dogs and cats, and a seven-foot animatronic werewolf named C. Thomas Howl.
Bradbury's Something Wicked This Way Comes, Jackson's We Have Always Lived in the Castle, and Stoker's Dracula will always be floating around in my top five at any given moment. Marie Kondo will never convince me to part with anything by Gaiman or Rowling. John Connolly leaves me in awe.
