KJ Leavitt is a writing duo made up of Kris and Jessie. Jessie lives in metro Detroit with her often amused but mostly bewildered and all-the-time supportive husband. She spends her days writing, harshly judging daily pop-culture happenings then offering her unsolicited commentary to passersby; she also comes up with inventive ways to meet her daily goal, which is to only make meals in which she can cook, consume and clean up during the course of Led Zeppelin’s Stairway to Heaven. Kristen believes in two things: that there is a perfect shade of red lipstick for everyone, and that your feminism should be intersectional or what's the point? Kristen loves to cook, dismantle the patriarchy, and is avidly interested in sword-swallowing.
