I'm a freelance illustrator, designer, writer and work-at-home mom. Also, I teach classes to various age groups about writing and composing books (teaching Continuing Ed at the Cleveland Institute of Art). Speaking to kids and adults about creativity and writing is a great passion of mine. I've visited public schools to share my own journey and to help inspire young writers (it's my drug). Wrote my first novel at age thirteen and tried to get it published, collecting my first batch of rejection letters (I think I burned them). Learned back then (1985) all about "The Writer's Market," thanks to my grandmother who taught me how to interpret it. Thanks, Grandma! :)
