Here they are! Swoon Reads Season 13:

Set in Stone cover not final.jpg

Set in Stone by Natalie Williamson

A high school senior falls for the star basketball player, even though it breaks all her strict anti-attachment rules, in this contemporary YA romance.

Why We Love It:

• The cheeky voice makes this fun, sweet contemporary super relatable and totally adorable.

• We LOVE the representation of a nontraditional family here. Some of the book's most heartfelt moments center on Amber and her mom's boyfriend, Kevin.

• OK yes, there's a cute boy... but there's an even cuter dog!!! We wanted to steal Buffy off the page and take her home for cuddles. T _ T

Chase the Night cover not final.jpg

Chase the Night by Prerna Pickett

A cop’s daughter who loves to push limits falls in love with a young man recently released from jail in this sexy and exciting YA novel.

Why We Love It:

• The steamy, opposite-side-of-the-tracks chemistry between Corey and Tessa gave us MAJOR Step Up vibes.

• Girl power! Tessa is a tough-as-nails protagonist with a penchant for fast classic cars.

• Family means everything to both Tessa and Corey, and the dynamics in both their families are so real—equal parts heartwarming and heartbreaking.

Lost in the Never Woods cover not final.jpg

Lost in the Never Woods by Aiden Thomas

When children start vanishing in the nearby woods, Wendy must join forces with a boy she'd always thought of as merely a dream in this dark and atmospheric take on Peter Pan.

Why We Love It:

• Chills! This book was filled with a wonderfully creepy atmosphere, as if mystery and danger lurked in every corner and shadow.

• Twisted tales! We love retellings, especially ones that bring something new and different to the story, so of course, we fell head over heels for this cool, unique approach to Peter Pan.

• PETER!!!! Aiden's version of Peter Pan is so compelling that he flew away with our hearts.

Congratulations Natalie, Prerna, and Aiden! And welcome to Swoon Reads!
