Staff Stories: Make-ups, Break-ups, and Everything in Between — Reading Snacks
It’s not ALL work around the Swoon Reads headquarters. We’ve discovered that it’s also very important to have long gossipy conversations around the metaphorical water cooler. Thus, we’ve compiled a list of burning questions for our Swoon Staff members to answer. And, we’d love for you to join us! Share your answers in the comments. This week’s question is:
What’s your favorite reading snack?
“I never eat when reading…the crunch is too disturbing. Or the simple chewing makes me read to a chewing beat!” — Stuart M.
“Glass of wine.” — Kate F.
“Cheez-its” — Summer O.
“Hard to eat and read, but probably popcorn or candy. Any kind of gummy candy will do!” — Kerry N.
“Anything salty and crunchy.” — Liz S.
“Can tea count as a snack?” — Katie F.
“Chocolate almonds.” — Jean F.
“Grapes or berries. I’ve been known to get so wrapped up in the story that I’ve reached the bottom of the bowl before I know it. At least this way, I’ve devoured something healthy.” — Kelly M.
