Announcing the Winning Cover for SIGNS POINT TO YES!
DRUM ROLL PLEASE!
I am happy to announce after a thrilling race and a very close tie, the Vignettes cover is the winner for Signs Point to Yes!
What’s great about the Vignettes cover is how many facets of the book is represents. I love that all four main characters are there, along with a nod to the road trip at the end of the book. I absolutely adore the super preppy green and pink combo.
Not to mention the arrows swirling around the title. Do not get me started on those! I have a lot of feelings about them. It’s like everything I could have imagined when I sat daydreaming about the cover of this book as I slogged through draft after draft.
A Little Something Different was an easy story for me to write. I flew through it and loved it immediately. Signs Point to Yes was a struggle. I had trouble with the beginning. I had trouble with the ending. I couldn’t pin down the characters. These poor kids went through so many name changes it’s no wonder they had an identity crisis. There were times that it felt like I would never be finished. But looking at this cover makes it all seem real and I know I have a story that I’m proud and excited to share with you all!
Anna B. is so talented. She truly captured the epitome of the story with her illustrations and her whimsical font. I really want her to know how much I appreciate the care and detail work she puts into her covers.
I can’t wait for the day when ALSD and SPTY share a shelf!
