By the Midnight Lake
Annabel Lee Charmont and her longtime (and devilishly handsome) friend, Allan E. E. Williams have embarked an altogether new journey of this thing called adulthood. They have to juggle the life and times of new college classes, friendships, and each other in order to navigate the perilous waters of the years ahead of them.
The only obstacle, it seems, is Allan himself.
They find out early on--Anna finds him on the floor one night, propped up against the cabinets in his kitchen. The doctors can't puzzle it out, his family barely copes, and Anna herself has to find a way to keep both of their heads above water.
