I'm Not Okay, But I Will Be

Description

Milo J. Huxley tried to commit suicide. Twice. Milo—the one with the unbreakable group of friends in high school? Milo who used to sing in the church choir? The same Milo who used to have so much going for him?

At 23, Milo J. Huxley is a half-black, queer, college dropout with exactly 2 friends. His writing career could be going better, and his love life could be more existent. There were many reasons why Milo did what he did, but there were also consequences. Milo is soon sentenced to attend two types of therapy—once a week with a personal therapist, Ingrid Castillo-Rivera who insists on actually doing her job and the other being in a group setting every other week. With the help of Ingrid, Milo is tasked with facing the things in his life that had ever made him feel less than and eventually journey on the path to self-love.
