The Girl Who Flew With Pirates

Bea feels like she doesn't fit in. Raised as a beggar and pickpocket in The Quad, a dangerous part of town, Bea tries very hard to become a lady to please her savior and mentor Miss Eleanor. Uncomfortable in her new role and tormented by nightmares, Bea returns to The Quad with her friend Sadie to find answers about her past. Sadie never comes home, and guilt-ridden Bea, with her mecho-dog Artie, sets out to find her, believing she has been taken by slavers. Seized and taken on a dangerous voyage, she learns that there is more to people and situations than what is on the surface, makes valuable friends and discovers the truth about her true identity.
