To Be Frank Charlotte Van Houten

Description

This contemporary retelling of Oscar Wilde’s classic play, The Importance of Being Earnest, retains all the charm, humor, and romance of the original while updating it to appeal to modern, teen readers. Jared Stacy and Alan Chesterton are eighteen year olds who’ve managed to sustain double lives. Both have taken on the persona of “Frank” in order to free themselves to explore different aspects of their own personalities, and to pursue romantic conquests. Things start to fall apart when true love enters the picture. Honesty, the foundation of any strong relationship, must be restored, but how to do that without letting true love slip away?...be Frank.

I'm super excited to read this! I'm actually writing a modern retelling of Hamlet right now, so I'm curious to see your take on another classic tale!:)
